Report
South Wilts Under 13s travelled to Marlborough College where they secured the County t20 title with a 36 run victory over Potterne.

Potterne won the toss and elected to field. South Wilts openers Patrick Hawley and Freddie Jones gave the Salisbury side a positive start before Jones (15) was caught with the score on 32. Following the dismissal of Ivo Leyland, Hawley (33 retired), Callum Foot (28) and Jacob Rowe 13 took to the score to 103 in the 14th over before Foot became the third victim. From that strong position the innings subsided as F Palframan (3-23) and T Langford 2 -10) halted the late run chase and the innings closed at 126 all out.

Potterne's innings saw Leyland clean bowl opener A Barnes with the score on 27 and then spinner Jacob Nash had skipper Bernie Rudler stumped by Hawley with the score on 50-2 after 12 overs. The introduction of Foot to the attack saw him take 3 wickets at a vital stage as Potterne attempted to up the run rate. Leyland (2-11) returned to the attack and in tandem with with Foot (4-11) and Asher Osborn (3-2) cleaning up the tail Potterne were dismissed for 90.

South Wilts now travel Bath to face the Somerset Champions on July 14th in the first of 2 region play off stages, where if successful they come back to Lower Bemerton where the Regional Finals take place with the winners earning a trip to Lords for the National Finals.
