As I am sure you can appreciate South Wilts Cricket Club, like lots of others sports clubs, are always looking of ways to increase involvement and income to help manage the ever increasing costs of running amateur sport. In the past we had to run a major fund raising lottery to ensure we survived through Covid and although the club is now on a more stable financial footing than in 2020 through increased support and improved financial management we are striving to strengthen our position and plan for future increased costs.

We are now launching a fund raising initiative to prepare for our next major capital expenditure which is most likely to be the refurbishment of our excellent 3 Lane Net practice facility and the replacement of our ageing pitch roller, these two items could total £30,000 plus and will need to be replaced in the next 2-5 years.

In addition to fund raising for SWCC we feel it is important to support our local Charity Partner in Julia's House so we are donating 10% of the Lottery profits to help them with the excellent work they do.

SWCC Super Summer Lottery will operate as follows:

The draws will run throughout the 2025 season with 8 draws paying out a £200 single payment per draw, 2 draws paying out a £500 single payment per draw and a Super Draw paying out a £1000 single payment as follows:

£200 draws - 10, 24 & 31 May, 7 & 21 Jun, 12 & 26 Jul and 9 Aug.
£500 draws - 28 Jun and 19 Jul
£1000 Super draw - Sat 16 Aug.

Deadline for ticket purchase, midnight on 9th May.

On 28 Jun, the first Draw for £500 we will be holding a SWCC Race Night, on 19 Jul ,the second Draw for £500, we will host a SWCC Barbecue and on the 16th August the Draw for £1000 will take place at a £1000 Draw Social Evening Special.

Each entry for the Super Summer Lottery is one payment of £50 for a ticket that will be entered into each of the 11 draws. It will not be possible to buy tickets for any of the draws on an individual basis. This is a great opportunity to support local sport in Salisbury with the added chance of winning a cash prize.
